This book was created in collaboration with fashion designer, Evren Nelson, for this final collection “Die Neue”. The concept of design is not merely about aesthetics; it's an explanation of cultural ideologies, philosophical underpinnings, and the human experience. "Die Neue” (The New)," is an exploration that delves deep into the intricate world of design philosophy, with a particular focus on German Modernist Design and the emotional aspect that often intersect. This study aims to unravel the principles of German design, explore the interplay of emotion in design, and ultimately reflect upon my personal intent in this journey. We wanted to create a book that was a reflection of modernish design and form over function, with a nodge to traditional Swiss graphic design as well.
